PRIVACY
Privacy policy
Effective 14 September 2026
This policy explains how AFL Intelligence handles personal information across its AFL and NFL research services. It applies to the public pages, signed-in platform, account administration and support.
Information we collect
We may hold your username, display name, email address, password hash, account role, subscription state, permissions and expiry. Owner security can also include an authenticator secret and hashed recovery codes.
When you use the platform, we record essential session data, login times, failed-login attempts, network address and security audit entries. Features you choose to use can store saved selections, tracked bets, notes, tags, research choices and other account-linked activity.
Sports fixtures, player records, model outputs and bookmaker prices describe sporting events and markets. They are not treated as your personal information merely because you view them.
How we collect and use it
Information comes from you, the administrator who creates your account, and ordinary security records generated when you use the service. We use it to authenticate you, apply access permissions, provide requested features, preserve your records, prevent abuse, diagnose failures, maintain backups and respond to access, correction or privacy requests.
We do not use account information to place bets and do not sell personal information.
Cookies and external requests
The site uses essential signed session cookies. An owner who chooses “remember this device” also receives a time-limited MFA trust cookie. The platform does not require advertising cookies.
Some AFL and NFL pages load player or club images from external sports websites. Those providers may receive ordinary connection information such as your network address and browser details. Linked bookmaker, data-source and support sites apply their own privacy policies once you open them.
Storage, security and disclosure
Account and activity records are stored in access-controlled databases and backups used to operate and recover the service. We use password hashing, signed cookies, access controls, audit records and encrypted transport in production. No security method can guarantee absolute protection.
Information may be handled by hosting, backup or technical providers needed to operate the platform, or disclosed where required by law. Provider locations can change, including locations outside Australia. No personal account data is intentionally sent to nflverse, The Odds API or bookmakers when the NFL pages request stored research.
Retention, access and correction
We retain account, security and feature records while needed to provide the service, preserve audit and backup integrity, resolve disputes and meet legal obligations. Backup copies can remain until their normal retention period expires.
You may ask to access or correct your personal information, close your account, or raise a privacy complaint. Contact the administrator who issued your account or use the contact below. We will verify identity before releasing or changing account information and will respond within a reasonable period.
